Time Difference

Melbourne's time zone is generally 2-3 hours ahead of South East Asia, 4-6 hours ahead of the Sub-Continent, 9-10 hours ahead of Europe and 15-20 hours ahead of the USA and South America. Daylight saving (summer time) operates in most Australian states, including Victoria, from late October to mid March. Between those months, Melbourne's time is another one hour ahead.

Airport Reception Service

Students arriving in Melbourne and who have paid for the service will be met at the airport and transported to their accommodation where they will be helped to settle in. This service is only available to students whose accommodation booking has been confirmed by the Institute. The Institute must be informed of the student's flight details at least TWO WEEKS prior to their arrival to ensure suitable accommodation and airport reception can be arranged. If arrival details are not forwarded with adequate time, the institute cannot guarantee that accommodation can be arranged.
